This unique association provides information, discussion, and training in the often hard-to-find aspects of the Internal Arts.
The Qingcheng Mountain Association has been founded by Grandmaster Zhang Yuanming and Master Steve Jackowicz who wish to preserve these great traditions.
Grandmaster Zhang has been steeped in the Martial and Medical Arts of China for his whole life, mastering several lineages and approaches of Xing Yi Quan, Bagua Zhang, Taiji Quan, and even the rare Yuan Chan Lineage of Shaolin Gongfu. Grandmaster Zhang is also an expert in Chinese Medicine and serves as an advisor to the United Nation’s Council on Qigong.
Master Steve Jackowicz is Grandmaster Zhang’s disciple and translator. He is a Harvard University graduate and is a Chinese Medical Doctor with training is Korea, Japan, and China. Dr. Jackowicz also holds a Ph.D. from Boston University in the study of East Asian Medical History, and he has completed advanced post graduate study at Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He most recently served as the Chair of the Doctoral Program in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Bridgeport. He operates Classical Martial Arts of Long Island where he instructs in the External and Internal Martial Arts, Qigong, and Longevity Science.
